THE WRAP UP-- DALTON-WHITFIELD LIBRARY AUTHOR FEST!

The Life In The Faster Lane tour rolled into Dalton, GA today for the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library's 2026 Author Fest. This is one of my favorite events each year. Thanks to Brandy Wyatt and her staff for putting on a great event. Met some new writers and caught up with pals Seth Tucker, Marlena Frank, Kelley Frank, Lee T. Lunsford, Kenyon T. Henry, Keith Robinson, and Dino Hicks who popped in to surprise us. I had some wonderful conversations today.

We had a fun panel on the writing/life balance. Only one attendee, but she had good questions and we talked about paths toward publication for her book in progress.

My dad joined me for this trip and we left early, getting to watch the sun rise. He hates the freeways so we took an out of the way course that took us over a mountain Beautiful scenery to start the day even if the sharp, windy curves did my stomach no favors. :)

A fun day out. Back home now and exhausted, but also exhilarated. Spending the day surrounded by creative people tends to do that. It's like going to a creative spa.

Here are a few photos. I should have taken more.

The Life In The Faster Lane tour continues on April 18th. See the full schedule at www.bobbynash.com and www.ben-books.com

Have a great weekend.
