Bobby will be participating in the Dragon Con Kids Sketchbook program.

This year, Dragon Con Comics and Pop Art is proud to announce the sixth annual Dragon Con Kids Sketchbook program. Kids 12 and under can pick up a complimentary sketchbook at the info table at the front entrance of Comic and Pop Artist Alley. Once in hand, kids will walk through Artist Alley looking for tent cards on artists’ and creators’ tables that match the logo on the back of their sketchbooks and approach them for a free, quick sketch and/or autograph.

Look for tables like Bobby's with the Kids Sketch logo and grab a free sketch.

CUTTING SOME SERIOUS SLACK!

Sorry I've been MIA the past few days. Had a massive sinus infection that laid me out. Been in bed most of yesterday and the day before. Feeling better today, though my voice is still a bit raspy. Still, I was able to make it through an interview on the Serious Slack podcast with host Cerius Blag. We had a nice chat about writing and such.

THE WRAP UP-- HOOVER LIBRARY'S SCIFI/FANTASY FEST!

  

I was a guest at the Hoover Public Library's 2025 SciFi/Fantasy PLUS on Saturday, July 19th in Hoover, AL. You can learn more about the library and event HERE!

This is always a highlight trip for me. The Hoover Library has always been supportive of me and my work. I was one of the guests at their first event and have only missed one since then. A fun time. This year, my buddy, Mike rode with me. The three hour commute each way goes so much quicker with someone to talk to while driving. I caught up with some friends and a few folk I hadn't seen in a while, which was nice. A great crowd.

I did one panel called "Writing is for Nerds" with Jared Millet, Joe Whitt, and VE Duncan. We talked about our writing journeys, creative processes, and what inspires us to craft the worlds and characters. A fun chat.

The bookmarks were the big sellers of the weekend. Definitely moved more of them than books.

A fun day out. A long day. I was gone 17 hours and was exhausted when I got home, but so worth it.
