WHAT A DAY! WHAT A DAY!

It's been quite the jam-packed day. I attended a wonderful literary meeting, met some cool writer-types, proofed the cover for SNOW HUNT (Jeffrey Hayes once again knocked it out of the park), received great feedback on my upcoming Zorro story (Yay!), got my Dragon Con table assignment (more on that tomorrow), and agreed to pen a new Lance Star: Sky Ranger serialized story (more on that tomorrow too). All in all, a full day. Not a lot of actual writing accomplished, but I'll dive back into that tomorrow. I'm bushed. Time for a break. 'night.

AMAZON ANNOUNCES PRINT BOOK PRICE INCREASE. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

  

You may have heard that Amazon's KDP is going to raise prices due to increases in production costs at the end of the month. All of my BEN Books releases use KDP's print on demand. I don't know how this will impact the price of my books, but it's possible it might. Sadly, price increases like this are out of my control. I plan to hold out as long as I can on changing prices, but if you've been on the fence, now might be a good time to place your order.

UPDATED! EXCITING READS: ATHENS GRAPHIC NOVELISTS PANEL AND GALLERY!

  

I had a great time hanging out with comic book creators James Burns, John Pence, Jadin Fielteau, David Mack, Adilene Padilla, and Joey Weiser at the Athens-Clarke County Library in Athens, GA today for Exciting Reads: Athens Graphic Novelists. We had a great panel and discussion. Our work appears in a comic art gallery on display at the library through June 30th. It includes a page from BEN Books' Lance Star: Sky Ranger "One Shot!" You should check it out if you're in the area. If not, here are some photos.

I had a great day. It was long and I'm tired, but also invigorated. Hanging out and talking with creative people is always great motivation.
