Operation Silver Moon is a graphic novel project currently in production and written by Lance Star: Sky Ranger's own Bobby Nash with art/tones by Rick Johnson. In this sneak peek page from the book, set during World War II, a certain group of air aces makes a cameo appearance. When an air strike is called in over hostile territory, the War Department sends in their best pilots-- The Sky Rangers, under the command of Captain Lance Star.
Also, check out the fantastic double page spread on the right from the upcoming Operation Silver Moon graphic novel.
"I can't say enough great things about Rick's art or the man himself," said Bobby Nash of his collaborator on this project. "Rick has been a great partner on this project and has become a great friend in the process. I'm excited to unveil Operation Silver Moon in 2014."

Things have been hopping at Hangar 27 HQ and we thought it was time to give you Loyal Airmen another art sneak-peek. This time we wanted to showcase one of the twelve amazing interior illustrations being done by Scott "Doc" Vaughn for - LANCE STAR - SKY RANGER Vol IV which should be out early next year.
Doc is the co-creator of the highly popular webstrip, WARBIRDS OF MARS, which is also a comic and best selling New Pulp anthology.

"Some great discussions of writing and books, which I always enjoy," said Bobby Nash of the event. "The crowd wasn’t quite what we hoped for, but everyone who came to the panels had a good time. The comic panel had the best attendance of the panels I attended."

The Writers for Relief anthology series feature collections of short fiction by top talents in the realms of fantasy and science fiction writing. The first and second volumes have brought help to Hurricane Katrina survivors through the Red Cross and Bay Area Food Bank, respectively. This third volume turns the focus to those who suffered in Oklahoma and features some of today's best known speculative fiction authors including Kevin J. Anderson, Ben Bova, Stephen Euin Cobb, Jason Sandford, Bobby Nash, Todd McCaffrey, A.H. Sturgis, John Hartness, Edmund Schubert, Mike Resnick, Danny Birt, Jaym Gates, Gray Reinhart, Janinie Spendlove, and Eugie Foster.
