New Pulp Publisher, Airship 27 Productions has unveiled their new website, the Airship 27 Hangar. Airship 27 publishes the Lance Star: Sky Ranger prose anthologies as well as the upcoming Lance Star: Sky Ranger novel, “Cold Snap” by Bobby Nash.
PRESS RELEASE:
NEW AIRSHIP 27 HANGAR
After months of hard work, Rob Davis, the Art Director has finished work on the new official Airship 27 Productions website. Titled the Airship 27 Hangar, the site features two all important links.
The first brings visitors to the PDF store where all Airship 27 pulp titles are available for $3 dollars as PDF downloads for their PCs or various e-readers.
The second brings readers to the Airship 27 Print-On-Demand shop at Indy Planet. Indy Planet is a division of Ka-Blam, one of the leading print-on-demand operations in the publishing world today.
“Now our fans can find all books with one click of their mouse button,” Airship 27 Managing Editor-in-Chief Ron Fortier announced. “These new internet shops have allowed us to drop the prices of our product while maintaining the high standard of quality our readers have come to expect from Airship 27 Productions. These steps insure our continued growth with dozens of great new titles now in the planning stages.”
“Expect our first title of 2012 to be released within the next week,” Fortier continued. “Both Rob and me are very, very excited about the future of Airship 27 Productions.”

Dedicated to the protection of his country, the master of disguises, America’s top secret agent is in wavering his loyalty and courage as he once against takes on villainy in all its myriad forms. He is the one and only Secret Agent X!

#####
Bobby Nash's story in Secret Agent X Volume 4 is called “Mountain Men of the Lost Valley.”
Here’s a sample:
X dove forward under the man's highhanded swing and caught him in an impressive tackle that would have done a professional football player proud. Unfortunately, X realized his miscalculation after his feet had left the floor.
There was a loud crack as both men hit the loading door, splintering wood under their impact.
Suddenly there was nothing beneath them as the door fell away. Secret Agent X and the mountain man fell from the speeding train to the waiting ground of the Lost Valley.

Words and Art: Finding the Right Blend in Comic Book Scriptwriting
This week's roundtable at Lance Star: Sky Ranger writer Sean Taylor’s Bad Girls, Good Guys, and Two-Fisted Action Blog focuses specifically on comic book scriptwriting. Sean posted the top three questions he hears often at conventions or from those wanting to start writing comics or looking to turn an indie movie or small press novel into a graphic novel.
Sean assembled a collection of comic book writers together to find out what they had to say. The writers include:
Jim Beard (Ghostbusters Con-Volution, Star Wars Tales, Hawkman Secret Files)
Mike Bullock (Lions, Tigers, and Bears, The Phantom)
Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters, TMNT Splinter, A-Team)
Percival Constantine (Femforce, Kagemono, All-Star Pulp Comics)
Ron Fortier (The Green Hornet, Popeye, Street Fighter, Lance Star: Sky Ranger)
Dan Jurgens (Superman, Booster Gold, Teen Titans, Captain America)
Roland Mann (Cat and Mouse, Ex-Mutants, Switchblade)
John Jackson Miller (Star Wars Knight Errant, Iron Man, Mass Effect)
Michael Avon Oeming (The Victories, Powers, Thor, Red Sonja)
Bobby Nash (Lance Star: Sky Ranger, Fuzzy Bunnies from Hell, Domino Lady vs. The Mummy)
Jenny Reed (Around the World in 80 Days, Charles Darwin)
Janet Stone Wade (Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa)

Speechless is not Burns’ first autobiographical book. His first comic, Detached, follows James’ experience as a visual artist who was suddenly confronted by the very real fear of blindness after suffering a detached retina. It’s not a medical story so much as a psychological one, involving fear, death, faith, and hope. Detached is a very personal story, but one that James was uniquely qualified to tell.
