ON THE ROAD AGAIN! THE LET ME TELL YOU A STORY TOUR WEEKEND WRAP UP!

  

Hey there.

I had a full weekend, on the road for two events.

First, big thanks to 2nd & Charles for hosting a great Independent Author Book Fair Saturday in Kennesaw, GA. A good time was had. 31 authors in attendance. A fairly steady crowd. Sold a few books and art pieces. I met some new writers and readers, plus saw some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. I also met the writer I'm mentoring as part of a new mentoring program for the Atlanta writers Club and his father. I'm excited to see where this young man's story goes. A good day.

Second, big thanks to the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts for hosting me on Sunday and for naming me June's Spotlight Author. Flew solo for this one. I had a great time. There was a small, but nice turnout. Books and art were sold. A great way to end a busy week.

Also, for those who interested in a recently announce upcoming books, there might be a cover spoiler in the photos from Sunday. Of course, as Patrons, you've seen the Deadly Deals! cover. I'll make an official cover reveal to the public soon.

Next weekend, 2 more events.

AMAZON ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE ON PAPERBACKS (BEN BOOKS NOVELLAS IMPACTED)!

I have a bit of unpleasant publishing news to share.

Amazon KDP informed me today that there will be changes to royalty rates for print books and color printing costs starting June 10, 2025. They are changing royalty rates for books under $9.99. That means my BEN Books published title under $9.99 will earn zero royalties after this change. As much as I wish I could write books for fun and free, I have to make a few pennies off of them. That means I have to raise the prices on my BEN Books novellas (Snow, Tom Myers, US Marshal Teague (coming soon), Lance Star: Sky Ranger, Secret Agent X, etc.) from $8.99 to $9.99. At this point, ebook prices do not appear to be impacted.

I apologize in advance. I will have prices updated sometime later this month. I have held off on raising prices as long as I could. I wish I could keep them at the price they've been to date.
